It not only detracts from the view of the screen, it is very difficult to try and watch a screen with two crawls going simultaneously.

Further, NASCAR has screwed up the live leaderboard with all the advertising. You can only view ten cars at a time.

Yes, they sure pull the bottom crawl when the adds come on. I guess they don't want to bug the viewers intently watching the adds but don't mind bugging the viewers watching the race!
