I look forward to seeing how Hornish fares today, I think he's a really fine driver. But in this type of racing, how good you are really depends on your dance partners.

Shannon Spake, I don't know whats wrong with her. I think she's doing just fine, so sorry she's not the ULTIMATE TV REPORTER all you guys are looking for.

Daugherty is very knowledgeable about the sport, he's right. The truck series and Busch series are two completely different animals, Almirola is virtually a rookie, what about what he said was untrue?

You guys are NEVER happy.

There's always gotta be something for you guys to whine about, so typical of this board. You don't see this somewhere else, this place has way too many cry babies.

Your'ere right about Daughtrey, which is somewhat suprising, considering he was involved with ownership (in Truck and Busch??). Honestly I think Musberger will work out fine, he has been exposed to just about all types of televised sports.

Once he gets a little feedback, I think Musberger will find his grove. The only other big time announcer I can think of who had a simular gig ( although it really revolved around 1 event) was Jim McKay on ABC in the I500.

He ended up doing a great job, he had some great calls over the years in the event. Brent has plenty of expierence, time will tell if he uses it.

The one guy that seem shaky to me is Rusty, I can't quite put my finger on what it is about him.....I think it might be he's to......exciteable?? Flubs a few to many lines....

Bestwick makes me happy. :D

Musberger used to be good ... about 15-20 yrs ago ... But as he ages, he's turned into a drama queen like Bill Weber ...

I like Jim McKay ... He's always been the consummate professional ... Never went for the drama queen routine ...



I know the Trucks & Busch are different ... The Trucks have the toughest, roughest racing of all three of the series ...

AMEN! I'm loving the ESPN coverage, when was the last time TNT/NBC or FOX had a pre race show for Busch that was nearly an hour and a half? And I'm loving the group of pit reporters ESPN has put together. Bestwick and Burns will sorely be missed by TNT.

Quit complaining .... geesh.

At least they haven't brought up the Hendrick plane crash... give them a break!

All I have to say is, At least we don't have "life with the Waltrips 24/7" on ESPN. You can't watch speed or fox for 10 seconds without something being about DW or Mikey.

Nothing like using Cup footage in the Busch opening segue ...
