November 30th is going to be the official date for the old boards to become archive and the New boards the official active boards for SpeedTV.com
There are a couple of threads to help you make the move as painless as possible so look around and be sure to ask questions.

Said it would let me keep my old name, but didn't. Same kind of login issues to. The new boards better get working right before they mandate them.

FYI - running Windows XP, IE 8.0, Safari 4.3.0 or Firefox 3.5.4, on a 4-1/2 year old Dell - works fine here; in fact considerably better then the old boards as the updates appear almost instantly now. There were a few problems (but none logon related) when I first went to the new board, but in the last couple of weeks it's been smooth sailing. New boards, etc even run well on my iPod Touch. Old ones not so much.

Go to this thread http://www.speedtv.com/forums/viewthread/475408/ and tell them your issues and what browser your using etc. They are working on it.

I've never had that problem with the new boards, but maybe it's because I always log in from the MY SPEED bar on the top of the page.
I'm running Firefox although I don't know what version, it's on the college's computers.
