What about Mark and Jr. having different driving styles? I imagine the size of the driver has something to do with the set-up of the car as well. The cars can be the same they need to be adjustable to the different drivers.

IMO the all the cars should be built to the same spec. I never understood why the 24 and 48 are not built with the 5 and 88.

Wow! Rick Hendrick wants Dale Jr's problems fixed, so says the very insightful headline. I was wondering where Hendrick stood on this, now I know! I feel for the writer who has to live with such headline drivel.

Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon have very different driving styles. Jimmie and Chad also did not get along well in their first season. The keys are adaptability, communication and trust. The equipment is as equal as possible to all the drivers and crews. Remember that Dale Sr went a full season without a win with Larry McReynolds as crew chief. Only time will tell.

Perish the thought....is it possible that Dale Jr. just flat out blows as a driver. I don't follow NASCAR much but my work buddies that do say this just proves Dale Jr. is not a good driver given that the other Hendrick cars & drivers are doing real good.

I don't think Rick is going to do anything to help Dale Jr.

I think Dale Jr. has just had so many megaton emotional bombs blow up in his life that he is just to shell shocked to succeed at racing these days. To be a good driver you have to have excellent reaction time, nerves of steel and strong resilence.
