Here's one of your problems with Nascar. This proves it's a show, not a race. Won't be long and they'll have a circus in the infield and a carnival in the parking lot, passing out lollipops and rainbow cookies.

I read what the yes man said!!! First sentence made me stop reading! BWAA HAA HAA HAHHAAHAAHA
I've been a firm believer for years that rookies shouldn't make their Cup Series debut in the Chase, so I have no problem with NASCAR telling Brad Keselowski to cool his jets in the early part of the race at Kansas

I cant quit laughing. "for years" BWAAHAA HA HA HA HA He acts like the chase thing has been around for decades or something. What a...tool

I know, I read that too. Keselowski is a driver. He' probably better than 90% of them now.

The "yes" answer sounds like something Nascar would write since they have egg on their face from this.

So it seems that NASCAR doesn't want the announcers to tell the truth about the races they broadcast if the race is less than exciting.
Sounds a lot like Vince McMahon's reation to pro wrestling being called fake.

I know I am old, saw my first race in 67, the last few years I have almost quit watching,BORING! started watching dega fell asleep, woke up it was over found I had missed nothing. No there are no problems in NASCAR, no problems if you keep saying it, it will become true

I agree with ya!

NASCAR started their WWEification about 2002. Slowly but surely they destroyed the racing and made it about drama. Two problems with this. Real racing fans want racing first drama second. Second problem, people that came for the drama bailed when they saw how horrible actors NASCAR drivers are.
Good racing isn't always going to be side by side, but it will be real. NASCAR and a lot of the fans never seemed to get that.

it is one thing for the booth guys to say the race is boring, but quite another when a driver says it to his pit crew as Tony Stewart did.
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/columnist/hiestand-tv/2009-11-04-nascar_N.htm?loc=interstitialskip
Although ESPN/ABC let viewers eavesdrop on driver Tony Stewart asking his crew during the race to tell him something interesting "so I don't fall asleep out here," Poston says the event had "seriously intense racing."
Hey Poston, all racing is serious and intense but still can be boring and that is what 'Dega has become.
Fix it, I am tired of downing five cups of Starbucks just to keep awake during this snoozefest.
