I'm thinking replace Daytona2 with Eldora, and the two Talladega dates with Syracuse and DuQuoin's miles.

If you don't think these cars could do dirt, then you probably never seen ARCA.

Sounds good to me. I'm sure Smoke would be all for it.

I rather see the drivers race than see what I saw yesterday.

Heck, I'd almost rather watch them cook an omlette or take their wives shoe shopping than what I saw yesterday. LOL

Didn't they already have that one? It's the only way I can think of knowing so much about Mrs. Johnny Sauter and Mayfield's ex and their dogs.

right.. but they dumped it because they didn't think you wanted to see that.. now you just told them that's what you'd rather be watching.. now you'll get to watch another season of Kevin Harvick breaking wind in his wife's face.. AWESOME TV right there.. pure class

Just make it the Talladega 100 and give me 2 hours of my life back. Isn't that what it was anyway?

Actually taking the plates off and having a special engine package would solve this issue quite nicely.

A snoozefest, is watching a 35 car train run around the track lap after lap. Racing in a huge pack waiting for the big one isn't much better.

Personally I'd take the 3-5 car packs over 30+ cars waiting to see who wrecks and who doesn't.

NASCAR is boring at Indianapolis because the track was made for IRL cars. They look fat and slow on that track. The Allstate 400 presented by the Brickyard is the most boring race on the NASCAR calender.

The problem isn't the flat corners at Indy, it's the width and radius of the corners. If Dega and Dayton were flattened they are wide enough to allow multiple lines.

This just in: Racing is dangerous and race cars get upside down. There are some really wacky ideas floating around lately about changing Talladega rofl. Uh, no? People look forward to Talladega and Daytona for the 3-4 wide racing and the flips and crashes. Nascar knows it, the fans know it, you all know it whether you want to admit it or not. Hell, if they ever changed the banking or screwed around with superspeedways in any way to make them lame like California there would be no point in me watching them anymore. They reinforced the fences, raised them, the walls are safer than ever and the cars are the safest racing mobiles on the planet. These drivers know the danger of racing. Nascar has done a commendable job since Earnhardt's death to make things as "safe as possible" while racing.

As far as the single file racing at Tally? Who cares? There was more 3-4 wide than there was single file or at least equal. I thought the race was great.

P.S. Whoever said Indianapolis was boring, I completely disagree. I love the races there.
