Here's a neat article on Juan Pablo "moving to elite status" with lots of great quotes from his fellow drivers:

uh oh, both Montoya and Truex are way way off pace in practice 1, at Dega that probably isn't very good huh? especially as they had good cars last time. Of course I realize those 195mph laps on top are done in the draft and those 187-189 are not but EGR are at the back in that group too

perhaps I got scared for no reason, you could guess guys like Mark Martin and Juan Pablo Montoya know how to run Dega anyway so they just do a few laps to set it up and then save the engine right?

I look for Juan to be leading this thing by lap 5.
Funny, FOX sports had 11 guys to watch today at Talledega and JPM wasn't one of them, hmmmmm.

Okay, 'Dega was a bit of a joke. The green/white deal is definitely not what the 42 team needed since they were going to be running on fumes at lap 188. Then they had to stretch it 3 laps further because of Marcus "Sorry Mate" Ambrose putting Newman on his lid. Their whole race unraveled, anyways, when Juan got caught in the sucker hole and went from third to 25th with 25 to go. Then raced his way back up to 11th before the red flag came out.
Off to Texas, where NASCAR can't possibly botch this race with hokey rule changes, right?
Three more chances for JPM to get that elusive first oval win. A top five finish in the points is looking pretty good right now. Definitely NASCAR's most improved driver this season.

My new goal for Juan is a win and the top 3.
