Finished 14th and didn't even have to spin Clint Bowyer to get there.
Needed a thread not about Dale Jr or rain so one about JPM seemed like it would fit the bill. Come to think of it wasn't Juan nicknamed Fire when he was at McLaren? So we've got Fire and Rain there...
Here's some James Taylor to calm everyone down.

He's catching on. I'm pretty stoked about it
He will win this year an oval !
I'd like to see it, unfortunately he will only do as good as the equipment will let him. We'll see if they've picked it up a bit.

Needed a thread not about Dale Jr ...
I have been reading the Jr/Brian threads carefully myself.
Juan was right in front of the leader when Jr /Brian happened. ….Who's fault it was so I can thank him.

He's got the plate tracks figured out. Now, all he needs is a little bit of luck. He's been really strong at Talledega recently and his new Impala is a lot better than the Charger/Avenger he drove there previously. So, I think this could be the year he breaks thru.
It's also good to see he has a really good teammate in Martin Truex, Jr. who not only can help make the team stronger, but also push Juan to be a better driver. Sorenson, frankly, wasn't much of a team player and I think Ganassi eluded to that last week on Trackside.

JPM is poised to make a mark on the Cup series this year. Now with equipment under him that can show his talent's look for him to lead more laps, run up front all day and finish stronger as the year goes on

I;d expect an Intermediate wine before a 'plate win. On an Int he controls his own destiny, on a 'plate track it's up to help.

He's run good at Atlanta in the past. Hopefully he will have the car and crew to get some good results this year. Listening to his radio communications can be fun. He can be hilarious at times.

At some point in 2005, I had the best wallpaper which was a JPM/Kimi Fire and Ice theme.
